‘This is Us’ Up for 8 EMMY Awards

The show is *unshockingly* up for Best Drama Series with stars Sterling K. Brown and Milo Ventimiglia individually nominated, leaving Mandy Moore, Chrissy Metz and Justin Hatley out of the loop – but that’s ok, we still love them. Gerald McRaney (who plays the doctor) and Ron Cephas Jones (Randall’s biological father) received nods for Best Guest Actor.

Game of Thrones leads with 22 nominations, followed by Westworld and SNL at 21.

In other EMMY news, Anthony Bourdain is up for a few (six) awards including Outstanding Informational Series or Special or Special.

Meghan Markle Misses ‘Suits’

It’s a tough gig being a Duchess! Just a little different than acting I’d imagine? Maybe? Markle formerly played Rachel Zane for seven seasons in the hit series ‘Suits’. While on a trip to Ireland with husband Harry, Markle told a townsperson, Fiona Moore, she missed the show, “I’m a fan of Suits and I said to her that I miss it and she said ‘so do I'”. Moore added that “she seemed very relaxed and was joking and laughing.”

A rep for her former network, USA, admitted that Markle’s name was submitted for Emmy consideration but was ultimately denied. Something tells me she’s not super concerned about not making the cut.

‘The Hills’ Album Ready for Beiber’s Wedding

Are they even invited? Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt say they’re ready to attend Bieber’s forthcoming wedding, Pratt filmed a reality show with the bride-to-be’s dad, Stephen Baldwin… so, is that what he’s banking on?

“I was telling my weight lifting coach, ‘God, I wish I stayed in more contact with the man who baptized me in a Costa Rican river on a reality show, because I would be going to the JB/Hailey frickin’ wedding… I’ve been DM’ing him like, ‘Hey, hey.'”
