Chilling First Look at the New Sabrina

Netflix is rebooting the comic classic about a teenage witch named Sabrina! Melissa Joan Hart starred in the mid-90s TV adaptation alongside Salem, her quirky animatronic cat. Their adventures were mostly lighthearted, wholesome and funny while the new Sabrina, starring Mad Men’s Kiernan Shipka looks a little more forbidding.

The show will be called Chilling Adventures of Sabrina with Shipka as Sabrina Spellman, Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle, Miranda Otto as Aunt Zelda and Lucy Davis as Aunt Hilda. Will there be an animatronic sidekick? YES, though I’m guessing it’ll be more CGI than robot… The storyline will play out as a “dark, coming of age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft.”

Look for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix some time in 2019.

Is Caitlyn Jenner Engaged?

I guess I’ve been living under a rock because I didn’t even know she was seeing someone! The 68 year old athlete, public speaker and reality TV star has been seeing 22 year old aspiring model, Sophia Hutchins. Jenner’s spokesperson has denied any engagement rumors but a source close to the two told HEAT magazine  “Cait really sees herself spending the rest of her life with Sophia. She lost her support system when she fell out with her family and these days, it feels like Sophia’s the only person she can count on.”

Some gossip sites are saying the two are already engaged but… whatever… as long as everyone’s happy, that’s really all that matters! And she does look happy!

Rihanna Didn’t Like Drake’s VMAs Speech

Remember the MTV VMAs in 2016? Remember Drake’s speech slash introduction for Rihanna? She was that years recipient of the Vanguard Award, a special tribute given to those who make a significant contribution to the world of art through video. Kind of a big deal… Anyway, Drake thought he was being nice, I’m sure, when he took his time introducing RiRi. Professing his love “since I was 22 years old”, reminiscing about her achievements, showering her with praise… It seemed like a ‘cute’ moment – right? Well… not according to Rihanna.

“The VMAs is such a fan-focused awards show, so having that energy around me, and knowing the people who had received the award in the past, made it feel like a big deal. Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast” – Rihanna tells Vogue.

Catch up with RiRi in the latest Vogue. She talks about Oceans 8, her new boyfriend Hassan Jameel (who she doesn’t directly ID but, come on), love, life and where she’s at with Drake, “we don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”

GET. IT. GIRL.
