Sean “Diddy” Combs and Cassie have already settled the shocking lawsuit she filed against him late last week, in which she accused him of raping and physically abusing her for almost 10 years. “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably,” Combs said in a statement on Saturday. “I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.” But after critics on social media quickly pointed out that the quick settlement makes Diddy look guilty, his attorneys clarified that the decision “does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims.” Cassie later added in her own statement, “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.” The financial terms of the settlement will not be made public.
