Britney Spears shared some excerpts from her highly-anticipated memoir, The Woman In Me, via a video on social media. “I actually envy the people who know how to make fame work for them,” opens the 26-second clip, transitioning into, “My demeanour was innocent – and it wasn’t an act. I didn’t know what I was doing.” The clip continues with, “I felt like I was living on the edge of a cliff,” before concluding with, “If you stood up for me when I couldn’t stand up for myself: from the bottom of my heart, thank you.” It was announced on Friday that actress Michelle Williams will narrate the audiobook, and many other celebrities — in particular Britney’s ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake — are buzzing about what the tell-all memoir will reveal. The Woman In Me will be available next Tuesday at major retailers.
