Located at 2364 Rogers Stevens Drive in North Gower, the Marlborough Pub & Eatery opened their doors back in 2007 and takes pride in serving “meals like Grandma used to make for Sunday Dinner!”.

So much so that many of the PIES they serve: are actually handmade BY a Grandmother on staff.

When asked about how they came up with it, they said:

“When we were coming up with our cocktail list we said we wanted something “Country Like” Hence the name “Sex on the Farm” It’s a very easy drinking cocktail with refreshing fresh juices along with Vodka, Peach Schnapps and our secret Ingredient“

Campari
IPA beer
fresh lemon juice
simple syrup
Bittermen’s Hopped Grapefruit Bitters

Stephen Flood, the Bar manager at Riviera describes it as “a refreshing balance of tart and sweet, and is easy going enough to welcome newcomers into the cocktail world, and sophisticated enough to satisfy seasoned cocktail aficionados.”

BAR DADDY BY JOVAN

With over 10 years in the bar game, Jovan Morales a.k.a Bar Daddy knew something was missing in Ottawa.

In 2018, he created a series of bar syrups to enhance the flavor of the nation’s capital.

Since Bar Daddy’s inception, Jovan has been creating syrups and catering throughout the city;

bringing a bolt of flavor to those in need.

SIGNATURE COCKTAIL: THE CAMPFIRE OLD FASHIONED!

Bourbon mixed with Bar Daddy’s Roasted Marshmallow Syrup and coffee/pecan bitters, smoked with hickory and served with a flaming marshmallow dipped in Nutella and Graham crackers! It’s a summer bonfire in a glass.

A business Born out OF the pandemic, offering a service that brings you delicious, classic speakeasy-style cocktails. You can think of this as being somewhat similar to a food box service, but for cocktails.

Their kits include everything you need, except glassware, to prepare your speakeasy quality cocktails in your home – the alcohol, juices, seasonings, garnishes, ice and detailed, easy-to-follow instructions

SIGNATURE COCKTAIL: Once again, impossible to pick… HOWEVER, they were nominated for the Rosewater Gin Fizz!

(Robbin has actually had one of these, and said “it was 10/10 would approve/recommend to anyone, and the drink is also INCREDIBLY instagrammable!”)
