Within the first 10 seconds my eyes began watering I’m NOT kidding! During Camila Cabello’s recent performance at the Houston Rodeo in Texas, she sang a cover of Selena’s ‘Dreaming of You’ which was A-MAZ-ING!

She posted a video on her Instagram page, “55,001 souls dreaming of Selena last night at the Houston rodeo. We love you, Selena.”

And Camila isn’t the only musician who has paid tribute to Selena aka ‘Queen of Tejano’ – country singer Kacey Musgraves and Dominican singer Prince Royce both have taken the Houston Rodeo stage recently and both performed some of Selena’s major hits.

Cardi B also performed at the Houston Rodeo just last weekend and posted a video, thanking Selena for inspiring her, “I was mad hype to see this picture before I got in my dressing room cause out of all her outfits there’s a picture hanging on the wall of the outfit I got my inspiration from for Please Me music video. It was like a lucky sign to me.”

Rocking knee-high boots, black gloves and a cowboy hat, Camila later posted a photo in full costume on Instagram and writes, “Thank you, Houston Rodeo! I went up there and was so nervous, every time I saw a yellow NBTS hoodie I was so relieved lmao, thank you for always making me feel supported and loved, i love you guys so much!!!!!! PS, how can I sign up to be a cowgirl?”

Selena performed at the Houston Rodeo a total of three times – her final performance took place on February 26, 1995, a month before her death and it was one of Selena’s biggest performances to date.
