Celebrity Chef and World Class Personality, Anthony Bourdain, Dead at 61

Bourdain was in France working on an upcoming episode of Parts Unknown when he was found unresponsive in his hotel room Friday morning by a friend. The cause of death is apparent suicide by hanging.

His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller. His talents never ceased to amaze us and we will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time.” – from CNN’s official statement

Anthony Bourdain flew us around the world and gave us the opportunity to explore new places, cultures, and food with him.

Because of him, many of us dreamt of going to these places — and then worked to make it a reality.

A Star is Born Gets Nod of Approval from Liza Minnelli

Minnelli, daughter of famed silver screen starlet Judy Garland, says she will go see “A Star is Born” because of her love for Lady Gaga. Typically, Minelli stays away from anything that has to do with her mom but will support this film, directed by Bradley Cooper, because she is a fan! Gaga stars in the film, a role once played by Judy Garland, which is a reboot of a reboot… The original came out in 1937 starring Janet Gaynor, then came Judy Garland’s version in 1954 followed by Barbara Streisand in 1976.

How’s that for a first date? Ok. Well, it’s not their first date, but it’s in the top 10. This new couple furthered their PDA at Kanye West and Kid Cudi’s Kids See Ghosts listening party in LA on Thursday.
