It all started on Saturday. During a college football game, sports-minded Swifties were treated to a one-minute teaser for Reputation’s second banger, “Ready for It?” Then, a second teaser dropped during a commercial for ABC’s fall TV lineup.

Early Sunday morning, T-Swizzle dropped the full single—and fans began obsessing over the potential inspiration for the v. sexy lyrics:

In the middle of the night, in my dreams /

You should see the things we do, baby

There’s much speculation that the track is about Brit actor Joe Alywyn, Swift’s current bf. (Check out this Genius annotation for an incredibly detailed lyrical breakdown.)

And true to T. Swift form, “Ready or Not” also contains some burns:

Some, some boys are tryin’ too hard /

He don’t try at all though, /

Younger than my exes but he act /

Like such a man

You don’t need to be a genius to suggest that “some boys” probably = “Tom Hiddleston.” Equally unsurprising is the fact that the track is now #1 on iTunes, followed by “Look What You Made Me Do.”

In other Swift news, the singer was nominated for a CMA Award on Monday—her first nomination in three years. The nom is for a song called “Better Man,” a hit single for the country group Little Big Town.

Oh, and she also served as maid of honour on Saturday for BFF Abigail Anderson (a.k.a. the star of “Fifteen”).

As the saying goes, good news comes in threes—and Swift is likely welcoming the good PR after a week of “Look What You Made Me Do” backlash, as well as the controversy surrounding her new “beat the bots” ticket purchasing scheme. Here’s hoping girl just takes it easy this week.
