The BEER Run in Support of Candlelighters

What are you up to this weekend?! The Beer Run (Ottawa) is in it’s third year – and while the event itself is sold out, let’s take a second to appreciate their cause:

“The Ottawa Beer Run will be supporting Candlelighters – Childhood Cancer Support Programs.

The Candlelighters mission is to enrich the lives of children and their families coping with childhood cancer. Candlelighters was established in 1988 as part of a network of local and parent support groups. Candlelighters is a not-for-profit volunteer organization that provides programs and services for young cancer patients being treated in Eastern Ontario and to those they depend on for strength and support.
